There are no fees for registration or participation for the Hackathon.
Yes, all team members can log in from their account and make the submission on Skillenza platform.
No, one does not need to be online for the entire duration. You can develop the prototype on your local system based on the given theme and submit it on Skillenza, on the specific challenge page before the deadline.
For Stage 1
50 applicants will be shortlisted based on the following parameters:
(a) Eligibility
(b) Concept note
For Stage 2
10 applicants will be shortlisted based on the project submitted. Evaluation will be based on the following parameters:
(a) Submitted prototype
(b) Accuracy of data
(c) Plagiarism check
For Stage 3
3 winners will be selected based on the final presentation. Evaluation will be based on the following parameters:
(a) Usability of data sets
(b) Dashboard user experience
(c) Scale-up strategy
Winners of each stage will receive email notifications.
The submission should be functional for the judges to review.
There is no restriction to use any language, technology stack, or libraries. You can use any of them to create your application. However, do mention the list of pre-built, or open-source libraries being used.
At Skillenza, we take cheating/plagiarism very seriously. Answers and presented projects must be original, own work of the entrants. Any case of plagiarism may result in disqualification of the participant from the Hackathon.

Artificial intelligence or machine-learning-based forecasting of reservoir water availability based on historical water availability, hydro-meteorological data, and water demand. Creation of visualizations and dissemination of forecasted water availability and other important hydro-meteorological datasets to help inform decision-making and shifting towards water-sensitive practices.
Stage 1

(f) Pitch presentation
Harassment of participants in any form for any part of the hackathon including live streams, chats, submissions, and social media will not be tolerated. Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon without any compensation at the discretion of the organizers.
If you feel uncomfortable or think there may be a potential violation of the code of conduct, please report it immediately to any or all of the representatives listed.
Applications from all backgrounds are welcome and actively encouraged. Diversity in the hackathon is what we strive for. The Hackathon is open to all enthusiasts who are:
Students from Indian and international universities
Young professionals, including independent coders, developers, data analysts, data scientists, geospatial analysts, UI/UX developers
Early stage start-ups and not-for-profits
Less than 3 years since inception
Fewer than 10 employees
Please Note:
Teams with women participants as well as women-led teams will be preferred and graded as value addition.
We invite participation from students and organizations in developing countries.
The applicant(s) must be able to work in a team, in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary environment and be knowledgeable in the subject topics
